These Terms and Conditions published on the Edge Landscaping website constitute the primary and controlling agreement between Edge Landscaping and its clients.
In the event of any conflict between terms listed on quotes, invoices, service agreements, emails, or other written materials, the terms published on this website shall govern.
By booking services through this website, approving an estimate, or continuing service after terms are published, you acknowledge and agree that these Terms and Conditions supersede any prior or conflicting agreements unless otherwise stated in a signed written contract.
Estimates are valid for 15 days from the date issued. Pricing may be adjusted after this period due to scope changes, scheduling availability, or material cost fluctuations.
Submitting a request form or inquiry does not guarantee a confirmed booking. Services are only confirmed once accepted by Edge Landscaping and scheduled.
Service dates may shift due to weather, route density, or operational needs.
Services are performed by Edge Landscaping employees or approved contractors operating under Edge Landscaping standards and insurance.
Recurring maintenance may include:
Weekly mowing of maintained turf areas
Bi-weekly edging along hardscapes
Weekly raking and blowing (90%+ debris removal)
Weekly weed control (manual removal or treatment)
Monthly ornamental pruning (shrubs up to 12 feet tall)
Monthly small tree trimming (up to 12 feet)
Three seasonal fertilizer applications (spring, mid-season, fall)
Spring and fall cleanups when seasonal months are active and paid
Dethatching and aeration after two full seasons of service (typically April)
Irrigation start-up and blow-out when seasonal service months are active and paid
Additional seasonal services may be offered at the equivalent of one month’s recurring service rate.
Winter services are weather-dependent and may include:
Debris management as needed
Reduced mowing, pruning, or edging during dormancy
Weed control when conditions allow
Snow removal (when winter services are active November through March):
Service triggered at 2 inches or more of snowfall
Includes up to 4 events per winter month up to 5.9 inches each
Additional events billed at $100 per visit for residential and $150/man-hour for commercial.
Snowfalls exceeding 6 inches may incur an additional $200 per visit for residential, and $250 per man-hour for commercial.
Includes driveways, sidewalks, and front patios only
Excludes decks, gravel, wood surfaces, and uneven pavers unless quoted separately
Additional areas available for $100 per visit
Clients with three or more consecutive months of recurring service may qualify for preferred pricing on:
Mulch installation
Overseeding
Pre-emergent treatments
Irrigation repairs
Preferred pricing is typically 10% below standard non-recurring rates.
A valid credit or debit card is required on file.
The first month’s payment is charged upon sign-up confirmation.
Recurring services are billed automatically on the 1st of each month.
Payments apply to services within that billing cycle.
ACH on file may make clients eligible for a 1% discount on services.
Edge Landscaping may pre-authorize cards prior to scheduled services.
A late fee of $100 or 20% of the invoice (whichever is greater) may be applied to overdue balances.
Services may be paused until payment is resolved.
Reactivation may require catch-up service fees.
Recurring services may be canceled with 30 days written notice.
Cancellations within 30 days of the next billing cycle may incur a $200 fee or 50% of your monthly invoice, whichever is greater.
Cancellations within 24 hours of billing or scheduled one-time services will be charged in full.
Payments already processed are non-refundable once billing cycles begin.
Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to the property on service days.
If access is restricted due to locked gates, blocked driveways, aggressive animals, or inability to contact the client within 30 minutes of arrival, the visit may be skipped and billed in full.
Edge Landscaping reserves the right to refuse or terminate services for:
Unsafe or hazardous conditions
Harassment or inappropriate behavior toward staff
Aggressive animals
Illegal activity
Disconnected utilities
Unsafe working environments
If service is terminated for these reasons, cancellation policies may apply.
Quoted pricing assumes standard site conditions. If actual conditions differ significantly from expectations, including excessive overgrowth, debris, inaccurate property details, or neglected landscaping, Edge Landscaping reserves the right to adjust pricing with client approval prior to continuing work.
We are happy to work around pets; however, for safety reasons, aggressive or uncontrolled animals may result in skipped services with charges applied per the cancellation policy.
Irrigation timers may be adjusted during scheduled visits if accessible.
Clients managing their own irrigation assume responsibility for watering outcomes.
WiFi controller upgrades may be recommended for remote management.
Irrigation repairs are billed at $100 per man-hour plus parts.
Damage caused by improper tool use will be repaired at no cost.
A 10% discount may be offered for veterans, active military, and first responders.
Clients with 12 consecutive months of on-time payments may request a 3-year price lock based on projected rates.
Standard price adjustments after locks expire typically average 5%.
Promotional pricing defaults to a 3-month lock unless otherwise stated.
For safety and team wellbeing, services will not occur on:
Observed holidays:
Thanksgiving and the following day
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Severe conditions including:
Lightning
Sustained winds above 40 mph
Extreme air quality (AQI above 500)
Other unsafe conditions at company discretion
Clients must remove or secure personal items from service areas. Edge Landscaping is not responsible for damage to items left in work zones such as toys, furniture, hoses, decorations, or loose property.
Edge Landscaping will repair damage caused by improper tool use at no cost.
We are not liable for damage resulting from:
Pre-existing conditions
Hidden or underground utilities
Client-managed irrigation issues
Severe weather or natural events
Normal wear and tear
Clients agree not to directly solicit, hire, or contract Edge Landscaping employees or contractors for similar services during active service and for 12 months following the last service date. Violations may result in a placement fee.
Payments are non-refundable once billing cycles begin. If a verified service error occurs, clients must notify Edge Landscaping within 24 hours so we may evaluate and resolve the issue.
Refunds are issued only for billing errors or confirmed service failures.
Edge Landscaping collects contact information, payment details, and service history for scheduling, billing, and operations.
We do not sell or distribute personal data to third parties except for payment processing or legal compliance.
We may occasionally contact clients regarding related businesses owned by Edge Landscaping ownership.
Clients may request updates or removal of personal information by contacting us.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Oregon.
Edge Landscaping reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates become effective immediately upon posting to the website.
Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
By booking services, approving estimates, paying invoices, or continuing service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
