1. Service Description Edge Landscaping will perform a compressed-air blow-out of backyard irrigation zones to clear standing water from the system and reduce the risk of freeze damage over the winter. This service is offered to Trailside homeowners as an optional add-on and is separate from the services provided under the Trailside HOA contract. 2. Scope This service covers backyard irrigation zones only. Front yard blow-outs are included in Trailside HOA services at no additional cost to the homeowner and are not part of this agreement. Water features are not included in the base price and are billed separately under Section 4. 3. Enrollment Deadline Requests for backyard blow-out service must be submitted through the official sign-up form on or before Tuesday, October 7, 2026. Crew hours and neighborhood routing are scheduled based on confirmed homes. Requests received after October 7, 2026 will not be added to this year's service. Homeowners who do not enroll by the deadline are solely responsible for winterizing their own backyard irrigation system, and Edge Landscaping assumes no liability for freeze damage to systems not enrolled by the deadline. 4. Pricing and Zone Verification $50.00 for the first three (3) backyard irrigation zones $10.00 per each additional backyard zone Water features: billed separately at $100.00 per man-hour, with a 0.25 man-hour minimum The irrigation technician on site will verify the number of backyard zones at the time of service. The verified count determines the final amount billed. Homeowners are billed only for zones actually present and serviced. 5. Service Dates and Scheduling Backyard blow-outs at Trailside will be performed October 26 through October 29, 2026. Backyards will be serviced concurrently with front yards. Specific service dates and arrival windows will not be provided. Trailside consists of 64 homes, front and back yards are completed on the same pass, and the time required for each section of the neighborhood cannot be determined until the work is underway. The irrigation technician will not contact the homeowner before arriving. 6. Property Access and Homeowner Responsibility The homeowner is responsible for providing clear and safe access to the backyard on all four service days, October 26 through October 29, 2026. This includes: Leaving the back gate unlocked and unobstructed Keeping pets out of the backyard and work area Keeping people, including children, clear of the work area If the technician is unable to access the backyard, the blow-out will not be performed and no charge will be applied to the payment method on file. In that event, winterization of that backyard irrigation system becomes the sole responsibility of the homeowner, and the homeowner releases Edge Landscaping from any and all liability for freeze damage to the irrigation system, backflow assembly, valves, piping, or any related components. Edge Landscaping is not obligated to return to a property where access was unavailable. Return visits, if scheduling permits, may be requested by contacting Edge Landscaping and will be quoted separately. 7. Repairs No irrigation repairs will be performed during the blow-out. If the technician identifies a problem with the system, the homeowner will be notified and any needed repairs can be quoted as separate work. 8. Workmanship Warranty Edge Landscaping warrants its workmanship against freeze damage resulting from an improper blow-out. This warranty does not cover backflow assemblies or backflow boxes that lack sufficient insulation, as those components are subject to freeze damage regardless of whether the blow-out was performed correctly. Homeowners who are unsure whether their backflow assembly is adequately insulated may contact Edge Landscaping for an assessment. This warranty does not cover pre-existing damage, damage resulting from deferred maintenance, or damage to systems that were not serviced by Edge Landscaping. 9. Billing and Payment The total amount, based on the verified zone count and any applicable water feature charges, will be charged to the payment method on file on Friday, October 30, 2026. Payments that fail due to a declined card, expired card, or invalid payment method will be assessed a $50.00 late/administration fee. 10. Subcontractors Edge Landscaping may use a licensed subcontractor to perform this service. All subcontracted work remains subject to these terms and to the Edge Landscaping workmanship warranty described in Section 8. 11. Agreement Submitting the sign-up form constitutes acceptance of these terms of service
