Full Backyard Landscape Maintenance With Fire Pit and Paver Walkway

This one had a lot going on - and that's exactly the kind of yard our crew thrives on. Multiple mulch beds, ornamental grasses, a paver walkway leading to a fire pit area, stepping stones through the side yard, and a full lawn that needed clean, consistent mow lines throughout. Every zone of this backyard required something a little different, and we handled all of it.

The mulch beds are a good example of what separates a maintained yard from a neglected one. Fresh, dark mulch around the trees and shrubs makes everything pop. It also does real work - retaining moisture, keeping weeds down, and giving the beds a defined, finished look. Paired with the clean lawn edges, the contrast between the turf and the beds is sharp.

We also trimmed out the ornamental grasses throughout the property. Left unchecked, those clumps get wild fast. Keeping them shaped and tidy is one of those details that most people don't think about until they're out of control. The side yard stepping stone path runs right through a stretch of them, and having everything neat makes that whole area feel intentional instead of overgrown.

The paver walkway leading back to the fire pit area is the centerpiece of this backyard. Our job was to make sure everything around it looked just as good as the hardscape itself. Lawn mowed tight, bed edges clean, shrubs shaped - nothing competing with the space visually. When the landscaping is maintained properly, a fire pit area like this actually feels like a destination.

Details matter on a job like this. Clean mow lines, trimmed grasses, fresh mulch, tidy edges - none of it is complicated on its own, but doing all of it well at the same time is what makes a yard look genuinely taken care of. That's what we showed up to do here, and that's what we left behind.
