Payment & Billing:• A valid credit or debit card is required on file for all customers.
• Upon sign-up confirmation, the first month’s payment is charged immediately, and service will begin within one week of sign-up.
• Monthly payments are automatically charged on the 1st of each month, covering services for that month (e.g., a June 1st charge pays for June services).
Late Payment Policy:
A late payment fee of $100 or 20% of the service bill (whichever is greater) will be applied if a payment fails or is not received by the due date. Service may be paused until the balance is resolved.
Irrigation Management & Repairs:
• If accessible, Edge Landscaping will adjust the irrigation clock during scheduled visits.
• We recommend setting irrigation schedules to seasonally adjust for spring, summer, and fall.
• If the system is inaccessible or the client chooses to manage their own irrigation, Edge Landscaping is not responsible for improper watering or related lawn/landscape issues.
• Irrigation repairs are available at a rate of $100 per man-hour + parts.
• Any damage caused by Edge Landscaping due to improper tool use will be repaired at no charge to the client.
Discounts & Price Adjustments:
• Veterans, first responders, and active military receive a 10% discount on all services.
• Clients who maintain 12 consecutive months of on-time payments may request a 3-year price lock, set at the projected rate for the following year.
• Price increases are capped at 5% annually and are based on inflation data.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
• No cancellation fees—clients may cancel services at any time with 30 days’ notice.
• Services already paid for are non-refundable but will continue until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are only provided in cases of service errors or billing mistakes.
Damage & Liability Policy:
• Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for protecting personal property left in the work area. Edge Landscaping is not liable for damage to items such as outdoor furniture, decorations, toys, hoses, or personal property left in the lawn or landscaping areas.

• Weed Prevention Application: A high-quality pre-emergent herbicide is applied to both lawn areas and landscape beds to prevent unwanted weed germination, targeting crabgrass and other invasive weeds before they sprout.
• Soil Activation: Pre-emergent must be watered into the soil to activate properly. Customers will receive watering recommendations to ensure maximum effectiveness. Proper watering is the customer’s responsibility.
• Targeted Coverage: Application is evenly distributed across the lawn and landscape beds to ensure consistent protection.
• Cleanup: All hardscapes near working areas are blown off as part of the clean-up at the end of services.
• Recurring Customer Discount Eligibility: To qualify for the discounted recurring customer rate, the customer must have paid for at least 2 consecutive months of recurring service and be a currently active recurring maintenance customer.
• Pre-emergent protection effectiveness: We use specific types of pre emergent in both spring and fall to target the most pervasive weeds that germinate within 3-6 months of application. We also differentiate pre-emergents between native areas and grass/landscaped areas. We expect 90% weed prevention for 3-6 months after watering in has occurred. The range depends on water amounts after application and the pervasiveness of weeds within the soil at the time of application. Please note that pre-emergent does not kill germinated weeds, it does prevent additional weeds from germinating.

Irrigation Repair
• System Diagnosis: A comprehensive inspection is performed to identify leaks, broken heads, valve issues, and other malfunctions in the irrigation system.
• Repairs & Adjustments:
• Broken or malfunctioning sprinkler heads are replaced or adjusted for optimal coverage.
• Valve repairs are performed to fix leaks or pressure issues.
• Pipe repairs are conducted as needed to prevent water loss.
• Zone troubleshooting is done to resolve issues with uneven watering.
• Testing & Calibration: After repairs, the system is tested and adjusted to ensure proper function and efficiency.
• Cleanup: Any work-related debris is removed, and hardscapes near the work area are blown off as part of the clean-up at the end of services.
Clock Replacement
• Removal of Old Controller: The existing irrigation controller (clock) is disconnected and removed.
• Installation of New Controller: A new modern irrigation clock is installed and programmed for optimal watering schedules based on the season and property needs.
• System Integration & Testing: The new controller is synced with existing zones, tested, and fine-tuned to ensure proper functionality.
• Customer Guidance: Basic instruction on controller operation is provided to help customers understand how to adjust settings as needed.
• Wifi Compatibility: Wifi compatibility can be added and set up for an additional $175 fee. Wifi needs to be near to irrigation clock to be fully effective. If wifi is added, we are able to manage your clock for you remotely at any time.
